Pod Pack announces availability in Australia of “The Swiss Water® Process Decaffeinated Coffee Pod”, a simple-to-use espresso service that takes the hassle out of catering for decaffeinated coffee drinkers.

The decaffeinated “pod” reduces time, trouble, space and mess – dispensing with the need for a grinder – while making a consistently perfect cup of fresh espresso coffee – every time!

Staleness (from storage and import times) is avoided by packing locally to produce fresh pods sealed in their own nitrogen flushed and individually wrapped foil sachets.

With time and temperature, the caffeine is leached out of fresh, green coffee beans. This filter method (the Green Coffee Extract or GCE) captures and extracts the caffeine molecules. The flavour and body of the coffee is protected by closely monitoring the solids, caffeine levels, and moisture in the coffee. The process takes approximately 10 hours resulting in beans that are 99.9% caffeine-free.
