Coffee Pods

Perfect espresso every time. No fuss and no mess!

Coffee pods come in different sizes and varieties, and are growing in popularity in homes and offices as well as in cafes, bars and restaurants.

Origins of the coffee pod

The Europeans, mainly the Italians, popularised pods because they made good quality espresso more accessible to more people. Today, many espresso machines for pods are still designed and manufactured in Italy and are exported all over the world.

Pod Pack's espresso coffee podsWhat are coffee pods?

Pods are individual servings of fresh ground coffee. Each one contains an exact measurement of pre-tamped ground coffee which is enclosed in filter paper and sealed in an air-tight pouch.

To make an espresso, you simply remove the pod from the pouch and place it in the espresso machine's pod holder or group handle.
